Disability Benefits
Wyndham Worldwide provides these benefits if you are unable to work due to a non-work related illness or injury. And you also may increase your level of LTD coverage at an additional cost to you.
Personal Time
You receive personal time to use when you are sick or for personal use.
Short-Term Disability (STD)
If you have been actively working for the company for at least 6 months, you are eligible for STD benefits provided at no cost to you. STD benefits replace a portion of your benefits salary and begin after you have been disabled for 21 calendar days. The percentage of pay replaced and the amount of time you receive benefits depend on your length of service with the company and any state disability benefits you are receiving.
Basic Long-Term Disability (LTD)
Provided at no cost to you - LTD replaces up to 50% of your benefits salary after you have been disabled 180 days. Benefits are offset by any disability benefits you may receive from other sources. This benefit is payable for up to two years, if you remain totally disabled. Other restrictions apply.
Voluntary Long-Term Disability
You may purchase this coverage if your annual benefits salary is $24,000 or more. Voluntary LTD combines with Basic LTD to replace 60% of your monthly pay. The benefit is offset by other disability payments. Other restrictions apply. Benefits are payable up to age 65, as long as you remain totally and permanently disabled.
Flexible Spending Accounts
You can participate in Health Care FSA and/or the Dependent Day Care FSA, and the maximum annual contribution to each account is $5,000.
Health Care FSA lets you pay qualified healthcare expenses for yourself or eligible dependents with tax-free dollars.
Dependent Day Care FSA lets you reimburse yourself tax-free for certain child and/or elder care expense incurred because you and your spouse work or are looking for work.
