When you make a reservation, you must provide a credit card number. If a deposit is required, the charges are placed on your credit card at the time you make the reservation.
Some guests, however, don't want their charges to be placed on the credit card they provided at the time they made the reservation. Similarly, guests may wish to transfer credit card charges, such as room deposits, from one credit card to another. These credit card changes can generally be handled at the hotel's front desk. Please verify credit card information and charges when you make reservations and check with a hotel representative for information specific to the hotel at which you're staying.
