Some room reservations must be "held" by a credit card, meaning that your credit card number is required to reserve the room for the dates you've requested. No charges are incurred until the arrival date, and charges for reservations held by credit card do not necessarily have to be charged to the card number provided. You can change credit cards or transfer charges to another credit card at the hotel's front desk. Remember that reservations held by credit card may be charged to the credit card number provided if not cancelled by the date and time specified in the hotel's cancellation policy.
