Our thriving arts scene offers world-class ballet and a year-round Shakespeare Festival, to name a few. If history is a current passion, visit Andrew Jackson's home, The Hermitage. And of course considering our own history, we can't help but recommend the fascinating Tennessee Central Railway Museum.

- Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum: Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Rogers, discover the best of country music's legends here. Learn about the accomplishments of inductees, or visit the adjoining museum to discover the collection of permanent and changing exhibits.
- Frist Center: With approximately 24,000 square feet of gallery space, it's dedicated to presenting the finest visual art from local and regional artists, as well as major U.S. and international exhibitions.
- Grand Ole Opry: The destination known worldwide as the home of country music, it has the oldest continuous radio program in the United States, having been broadcasting since October 5, 1925.
- Nashville Shakespeare Festival: Their philosophy is making the world a stage all year round. See the Bard's works and more at this first-class venue.
- Ryman Auditorium: The Ryman is a National Historic Landmark with roots in country music where one can see all types of musical performances as well as daily self-guided tours.
- Schermerhorn Symphony Center: Here, the Nashville Symphony performs more than 100 classical, pops and special concert events each season and will present recitals, choral concerts, cabaret, jazz and world music events.
- Tennessee Performing Arts Center: The home to three resident performing arts organizations: Nashville Ballet Nashville Opera, and Tennessee Repertory Theatre. This is art at its best.
- TAG Art Gallery: Nashville based art gallery featuring emerging contemporary artists including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and printmaking.

- Adventure Science Center: This is the place where science and learning are transformed into fun and excitement. Be a pilot, a gunner or explore the human brain.
- Belle Meade Plantation: This plantation is a 30-acre historic site just 6 miles west of Nashville. The centerpiece of the property is the lovely Belle Meade mansion built in 1853.
- Belmont University: A private comprehensive liberal arts university offering real-world, professional education.
- Bluebird Café: This is where rising stars of the country music world go to test out new material and hope to get their big break.
- Brentwood, TN: Visit this lovely area with it's many parks.
- Franklin, TN: Visit this tranquil and historic, small county seat. In the years prior to the American Civil War, Williamson County was one of the wealthiest counties in Tennessee and Franklin was the center of plantation life.
- Hendersonville, TN: One of the fastest growing communities in Tennessee, it has lakes and parks to explore.
- The Hermitage: It's the home of President Andrew Jackson and has been a museum since 1889.

- Nashville Federal Building and Customs House: Its cornerstone laid by President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1877, this historic building is a wonderful example of 19th century architecture in Nashville.

It has a rich history dating back to the pasture races in Middle Tennessee during the 1930s,

Local Events
- GMA/Gospel Music Association - Dove Awards:
The GMA Dove Awards are held each April. It's the longest running and most prestigious awards ceremony recognizing achievement in all genres of Christian and Gospel music.
- Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon:
Every April you can run or walk in this event that take you through the streets of our fair city.
- Tennessee Renaissance Festival:
Step back in time, m' lords and ladies, at this festival. It's a four-weekend long event in May that brings the best of renaissance life to the hills of Tennessee.
- TACA Spring Craft Fair:
Named one of the "Top 20 Events in the Southeast," by the Southeast Tourism Society, the TACA Spring Craft Fair is the state's premier outdoor showcase for Tennessee craft artists. It's held the first weekend in May each year.
- CMA Music Fest: For one week in June, the country music industry says "Thank You" to the fans at the Nashville event.
- 4th of July Celebration :
Visit Music City for the ultimate Fourth of July celebration featuring a huge concert line-up and incredible fireworks display at Nashville's beloved Riverfront Park.
