In fact, there are so many things to do and see we hope you'll come back to the Wyndham Boston Andover hotel again and again. History buffs will enjoy visiting historic Lexington and Concord, Salem and the Old North Church in Boston. To see what life was like during colonial times, a visit to Plimouth Plantation is a must see. Lovers of the arts will want to attend at least one show at the nationally acclaimed Merrimack Repertory Theater. But if you prefer bleachers to theater seats, a Red Sox or Patriots game should not be missed. If you're lucky enough to catch the peak foliage time, the fall here is spectacular. Tax-free shopping in nearby New Hampshire is a great way to spend an afternoon, no matter what time of year it is. And kids of all ages will love a visit to Canobie Lake Park. Cultural This venue seats 2,800 and has perfect acoustics. Found along the Concord River, it also boasts grand architecture and excellent sightlines. It's the place for touring Broadway shows, concerts, sporting events, and more. Founded in 1979, this theater presents a mix of contemporary and new plays each month from September through May. MRT has won numerous Boston Critics Awards and has been recognized by the New York Times for artistic excellence. The house capacity is 308 audience members. Points of Interest This charming town was incorporated in 1646. It's home to Phillips Academy, which was founded in 1778, and the second oldest land preservation society in the United States. Two wooden bell towers overlook the local river here. Inside, changing exhibits document the rise, fall and rebirth of Lowell. The main attraction is the weave room where working power looms still run. The battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements in the American Revolution, back in 1776. Come to the birthplace of American liberty and see where it all began. Established in 1978, this park is operated by the National Park Service and comprises a group of different sites in and around the city of Lowell related to the era of textile manufacturing in the city during the Industrial Revolution. The museum collection includes more than 225 antique and contemporary quilts and tops, plus numerous related textile and sewing items, representing the history of American quilt making. American Textile History Museum See exhibits and events, plus take lessons in weaving, felting, and even spinning. This four-year Catholic college offers students a great education, with degrees in liberal arts, business, science and engineering and education. From Mystic Seaport all the way to Provincetown on the Cape, there are just so many seaside towns to explore. And don't forget there is a lovely rocky coastline all the way up to Maine. Philips Academy Andover Prep School Founded in 1778, this is a co-educational, independent high school for boarding and day students in grades 9-12. The average class size is only 13 and many students continue on to Ivy League universities. Come see what life was like back in 1627 at this recreation of a small farming town built by English colonists. The folks you will meet are costumed role players who have taken on the names, viewpoints and life histories of the people who actually lived in the colony. It may be most widely known as the site of the witchcraft trials of 1692, but this colorful, coastal city has much to offer both residents and visitors: a diverse population, a rich maritime heritage, an impressive display of historic architecture and amazing stories that span almost four centuries.

Haverhill Valley Forum This indoor rink was first opened in 2007 and is open year round for fun. It's a great place for figure skating lessons, an afternoon of ice skating and fun birthday parties.
