Art. History. Nature. Make your memories here.
Welcome to Colorado Springs! Known as "Little London" when it was settled in the late 1800s, Colorado Springs was not a rough-and-tumble mining town, but was appealing because of the comfortable year round climate and sophisticated culture. Those enticements remain true; today Colorado Springs offers a rich diversity of the Arts, over 50 area attractions and breathtaking scenic views. Pikes Peak, "America's Mountain," stands watch over the city, and at 14,115 feet is awe-inspiring now as it was when Katharine Lee Bates wrote "America the Beautiful" while atop the summit. Colorado Springs thrives on a love of the outdoors, history and art. Whether your pleasure is the pursuit of a creative spark, a desire for knowledge or testing the limits of your physical endurance, Colorado Springs offers something for everyone.
