Guest will be required to fill and sign the following policy at check-in:

Guest hereby agrees to the following policies, regulations, and conditions
whilst staying at Aura Cozumel with a pet:
  1. A non-refundable deposit of $150 USD is required upon reservation for special handling of the room after check-out.
  2. Weight limit of a pet shall be 15 pounds or less.
  3. Guest agrees to keep the pet on a leash or in a carrier at all times whilst in public areas.
  4. Guest agrees to keep the pet out of the pool, Isola Restaurant, Brissas Bar, Meeting Rooms, Luna Bar, and Fitness Center.
  5. Maximum of 2 pets allowed per room.
  6. Guest agrees to be present while any member of the hotel staff, such as housekeeping or engineering, is in the room. Room cleaning must be scheduled in advance for a time when the pet is not in the room or when the owner will be present.
  7. Guest agrees to keep the pet with him or her, or with a designated individual, at all times.
  8. Pets are not allowed within the restaurant's and bar's facilities, due to hygiene and sanitation control.
  9. In order to ensure the hygiene of the room and in respect of other guests, the pet owner must have adequate and constant cleaning supplies such as a pee pee pad inside the room.
  10. Guest agrees to pick up and clean any mess that the pet may cause in public areas.
  11. Guest agrees to pay any additional charge for repairs that should be required, and authorizes the hotel to charge his/her credit card for such items, even if they are discovered following the guest's departure from the hotel.
  12. Guest agrees that the pet should not create any disturbances which cause complaints to be made to the hotel by other guests or personnel of the hotel. At the request of the hotel manager, the guest shall immediately make arrangements to house the pet outside the hotel.
