We understand that there is absolutely nothing like your wedding day. So for something truly memorable, we think hosting your destination wedding with us at Viva Wyndham Azteca in Playa del Carmen, Mexico is the ideal choice. If you'd like your feet in the sand as you start your life together, we're happy to reserve part of our private beach for your special day. Since we never host more than one wedding per day, your big day is sure to be yours alone.

It's nice to know that from tour, to tastings, to ceremony, you have a single point of contact. Our dedicated Wedding Team will assist you with every detail of your Playa del Carmen wedding. Naturally we'll help with document preparation and guide you through the process for obtaining a marriage license. Our in-house pastry chef will create a cake that is as stunning as it is delicious. What's more, we have established partners if you want a special flower in the bouquet or even a string quartet to play on the beach. We are happy to host bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions and even post-wedding brunches for up to 90 guests. Be sure to ask about our Mexico wedding packages.

Special Features

Beach Wedding Ceremony: We're happy to reserve a private portion of our beach, and we can accommodate up to 30 attendees seaside.

Honeymoon Suite: This large, one-of-a-kind suite has its own sitting and sleeping areas, plus a whirlpool tub that's perfect for two.

Mayan Arch Ceremony: This lovely Mayan-style arch is surrounded by lush gardens and is a great choice for an intimate ceremony or memorable photos.

Palapa Cocktail Reception: Steps from our Mayan arch is an oversized palapa canopy that's perfect for hosting cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres.

Renova Spa: This is the place for a relaxing pre-wedding day massage, or for the bride to get her makeup done for the ceremony, or where the groom can get a fresh haircut. Couples treatments are a wonderful way to start life together in utter bliss. It's all minutes away at our sister property, Viva Wyndham Maya.

Renewing of Vows: We're happy to host couples who would like to renew their wedding vows. We'll welcome you back, or here for the first time, with special upgrades and more.
