 Weddings and honeymoons have a very special meaning at the Viva Wyndham Azteca, where our on-site Wedding Coordinator sees to every detail for the bride and groom, their wedding party and guests. The planning and execution is left to us so the happy couple can simply indulge in creating memories that will last a lifetime. We offer a wide range of wedding, vow renewal, reception and honeymoon specials and packages.

Whether on a beach at our resort, in a church or underwater, we'll help you choose the ideal location for your wedding ceremony. Our Wedding Coordinator will help make legal and ceremony arrangements and secure a date for the ceremony. We work closely with local ministers and pastors, judges, and other officiates.
In Mexico, only civil marriage ceremonies are recognized as legal. If you dream of a religious ceremony, we can help you arrange to hold both a civil and religious ceremony during your stay at Viva Wyndham Azteca. Civil judges generally have no problem with a minister or lay person being present and speaking at the civil ceremony.
Our four all-inclusive wedding and renewal packages - Classic Wedding, Mexican Wedding, Moonlight Love and Renewal of Vows - all feature civil (for weddings) or non-denominational (for vow renewals) officiators. Each package makes having a great tropical wedding easy and affordable.
Classic Wedding Package
- An upgrade to an ocean-view room (subject to availability)
- Assistance of an on-property wedding coordinator
- Civil judge and legal expenses (does not include legalization)
- Translation of the ceremony into English (ceremony is performed in Spanish)
- Bridal bouquet and decorations
- Three-tiered wedding cake, champagne and background music
- 10 color photos of the ceremony
- And an in-room honeymoon surprise
Prices for the Classic Wedding package start at $690 for up to 10 people. For larger wedding parties there is an additional charge of $10 per person for cake and champagne service. Children under 12 years of age are free of charge.
Mexican Wedding Package
Couples who choose the Mexican Wedding package will receive all of the same amenities as the Classic Wedding, plus:
- A boutonniere for the groom
- A reservation in one of the a-la-carte restaurants for 10 people
- Continental breakfast for the newlyweds the day after the ceremony
- Night courtesy throughout the stay
- A10 percent discount at the on-site beauty parlor for the wedding couple
Prices for the Mexican Wedding package start at $890 for up to 10 people. There is an additional charge of $10 per person for additional guests for cake and champagne service. Children under 12 years of age are free of charge. There is an additional charge at the a-la-carte restaurant for more than 10 guests.
Moonlight Love Package
The Moonlight Love package features all of the amenities of the Mexican Wedding, plus:
- A flower arrangement for the wedding table
- A private barbeque or dinner with a set menu in one of the a-la-carte restaurants for a maximum of 10 people
- A dressing gown and slippers
- A voucher for US$30 to be used at the Viva Excursions Department
The Moonlight Love package is priced from $1,190 for up to 10 people. Additional guests are $25 per person for cake, champagne and barbeque service. Children under 12 years of age are free of charge.
Renewal of Vows Package
- An upgrade to an ocean view room (subject to availability)
- Services of a wedding coordinator
- A officiator to perform the ceremony (with non-denominational religion)
- Decorations and a bridal bouquet
- A three-tiered wedding cake for up to six people
- One bottle of champagne
- Background music
- 10 pictures of the ceremony
- An in-room honeymoon surprise
- A keepsake certificate of the vows
The package is priced from $590 for up to six people. Additional guests are $10 per person for cake and champagne service, and children under 12 are free of charge.

Viva Wyndham Maya and Viva Wyndham Azteca offer a host of optional services, which are not included in the price of each package. Additional services include (US$):
