Enjoy the wineries of Grapevine – spectacular azaleas in bloom.

Texas is the Lone Star State, and there is a lot of stellar fun to be had right here in the Dallas - Ft Worth Metroplex. And it's all easily accessible from the Wyndham DFW Airport Hotel. That's because I-635, I-114 and other major highways are right around the corner. The Dallas Arboretum has 2,800 species of azaleas along with many magnificent gardens to explore. We're also a great place for all kinds of shopping, from upscale to the more bohemian items, and even one-of-a-kind works of art.

The area also has a rich and diverse history. So, visit the JFK Memorial, the Fort Worth Stockyards, and Fair Park, the home of the 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition, which has the largest group of Art Deco buildings in the world. Don't miss seeing the Mavericks, the Rangers, a game at Cowboys Stadium, or the annual Byron Nelson Golf Tournament. Kids and thrill-seekers of all ages will love the Six Flags over Texas theme park and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park. If you'd like to cap off your trip with a wine tasting, be sure to check out the Grapevine Wine Trail and the annual Grapefest each September. Texas is a big state, so we hope you'll be back as our guest soon.
