Viva Wyndham Resorts invites guests to explore the rich landscapes of the Dominican Republic, Bahamas and Mexico through its diversified off-property Excursions Program offered at all Viva Wyndham Resorts properties.

Each resort maintains an on-property tour desk where guests can sign-up for an assortment of off-property excursion programs. Although not included in the all-inclusive plan, off-property outings are encouraged so that guests can experience the countries where a Viva Wyndham Resorts property is situated.

The Excursions Program offered at Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach provides a variety of different options for guests to choose from. Whether you prefer water-based activities, such as swimming with the dolphins and deep-sea fishing to land-based activities including a nature tour or city tour, guests staying at Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach will find it all.

The following is a list of some of the excursions offered at Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach:

Super Combination Tour - For all the sight - seeing and shopping you will need to do awhile in Freeport - this is your tour! You will drive through on of our picturesque residential sections known as "Millionaire's Row" and see the many restaurants and churches on route to downtown Freeport where you will stop and visit our open air market. We then take you on a drive through the western section of the island, stopping at a liquor store and industrial sections on the way to the International Bazaar or Port Lucaya. There you will be given ample time to shop in the wide variety of stores. Departs: 9:15 am and 1:15 pm. Duration: 3 hours.

Price: US$40.00 (Adults) / US$30.00 (Children under 12 years).

Luyacan National Park & Cave Tour - Join our experienced island guide for a half day tour of the beautiful 3 acre national Park which is run by the Bahamas National Trust. Within the Park lie the wonderful caves where the Arawak Indians lived well before Christopher Columbus landed on the island of Grand Bahama in 1492. You'll walk through the Park and experience on abundance of wild birds and colorful fish before reaching a spectacular Caribbean beach. With an introduction to 500 years of Caribbean history the tour is a must for the discerning visitors.

Price: US$40.00 and US$3.00 (Entrance fee to the National Park).

Dolphin Swim - Swim and interact with the dolphins in the protected waters and natural environment of the Dolphin Experience Lagoon. Our expert staff will guide you through a perfect mix of dolphin behaviors and relaxed swimming. During this once in a lifetime experience you will be amazed at how graceful animals move about in the water and leap and twirl at your command.

Price: US$169.00.

Horse Back Riding - Ride along the natural shoreline under sunny skies and feel the ocean breeze embrace you while galloping freely on the beach. US$ 85.00
