All of our newlyweds receive complimentary accommodations the night of their reception. We also offer discounted room rates for their guests. We offer special rehearsal dinner and bridal luncheon programs with our sister property, The Tremont House - A Wyndham Historic Hotel.

Ceremonies

We can perform intimate and private or large-scale public wedding ceremonies, indoors or outdoors. Our Front Lawn and the Veranda, overlooking the tropical pool and gardens, are the most popular spots on our property to tie the knot. The beach, located directly across the street from the Hotel Galvez, is ideal for sunset weddings. Off-property ceremonies can be arranged through the Galveston Historical Foundation at one of the numerous historic homes or churches.

Music Hall

The Music Hall captures Victorian finesse perfectly with 4,550 square feet of restored original grandeur. Graceful archways, luminous chandeliers and a glorious 18-foot ceiling make the Music Hall a natural setting for gala occasions of up to 300 guests.

Terrace Ballroom & Veranda

The Terrace Ballroom, with coffered ceilings and mahogany columns, whispers the elegance of a time gone by. The Terrace Ballroom is an ideal location for larger wedding celebrations, especially when combined with the Veranda.

The Veranda overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, tropical pool and flowering gardens. The Terrace and the Veranda together create an exceptional setting for the memories of a lifetime.

The Hotel Galvez and staff lavish individual attention on each couple and their guests. The hotel offers white satin striped chair covers, mahogany chivari chairs and floor-length tablecloths. Complimentary dance floor and staging are available.
