The Tremont House - A Wyndham Historic Hotel

Following a multimillion-dollar renovation, all of our 119 Galveston suites and rooms at the Wyndham Tremont House Hotel in Galveston have been restored to offer both great style and stunning period charm. What was a simple warehouse over 130 years ago, now boasts guest rooms with more than a dozen unique floor plans that range in size from 300 to 500 square feet. Plus, each and every room has at least 12-foot ceilings and 100% cotton linens by the venerable House of Anchini. All rooms also feature hardwood floors, 32" flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. Choose from queen or king size beds with Simmons Health Smart mattresses; charming wicker furniture makes each space that much more comfortable. In the bathroom, hand-painted English tiles, marble surfaces, rainfall showerheads, and Gilchrest & Soames bath amenities take the pampering to new heights. To protect the integrity of the building and the antiques found inside, the Tremont House is now a non-smoking property.

Tremont Suites

These beautifully appointed Galveston suites boast a parlor, bedroom, one bathroom, and are a commanding 800 square feet. In the parlor you'll find a sleeper sofa, dining table, and a 42" LCD TV. The bedroom has one king size bed and its own 42" TV. We think having a separate bedroom is especially nice when little ones need to nap, or if you are entertaining clients.

Belmont Suites

At about 850 square feet, each suite features a parlor, bedroom, plus one and a half bathrooms. The parlor has a sleeper sofa, dining area, wet bar and 42" LCD TV. In the oversized bedroom you'll find a king size bed and a second 42" TV. Think of it as your home away from home.

ClearAirSM Rooms

A number of our hotel rooms are specially equipped to boost air quality to an unsurpassed level. These select rooms use the PURE system that includes: mattress and pillow encasements that eliminate dust and allergens, a state-of-the-art air purification system, and specially treated surfaces. It all adds up to an experience any guest is sure to appreciate, especially allergy sufferers.
