The Tremont House is a prime location for weddings ranging in size from 10 to 600. Our Wedding Coordinator and staff lavish individual attention on each couple and their guests. From the moment you contact us, we will focus on your every wish - accommodations for you and your guests, wedding location, ceremony, flowers, cuisine, an exquisite cake, music - to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. We take care of every detail, including contracting a photographer and/or videographer and coordinating officiator arrangements for you. Newlyweds stay relaxed and focused on each other and enjoy their special day at one of the Southwest's most spectacular and romantic locations.

All of our newlyweds receive complimentary accommodations the night of their reception in addition to complimentary champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. We also offer discounted room rates for their guests. We offer special rehearsal dinner and bridal luncheon programs with our sister property, the Hotel Galvez - A Wyndham Historic Hotel.

Ceremonies
We can perform wedding ceremonies in either a private banquet room or on the rooftop terrace overlooking the harbor. Off-property ceremonies can be arranged through the Galveston Historical Foundation at one of the numerous historic homes and churches. Local beaches are also popular destinations for sunset ceremonies.

Celebrations
Imagine a celebration surrounded by Victorian splendor. From our rooftop terrace to our restored Victorian ballrooms, we have the perfect location for wedding celebrations. Whether the celebration is for a party of two or 500 guests, we have exquisite cuisine and impeccable service to make your occasion an unforgettable event.

Davidson Ballroom
Across the street from the hotel, the Davidson Ballroom houses our largest banquet facility with over 7,900 square feet of space. The Davidson Ballroom offers a masterpiece of Victorian design and is graced by the beauty of crystal chandeliers and fine architectural craftsmanship. Opening onto a large wrap-around terrace, the Davidson Ballroom is the ideal location for grand-scale occasions.

Sam Houston Ballroom
The Sam Houston Ballroom, with over 2,800 square feet of space, is perfect for those groups under 150. The Sam Houston Ballroom was once the front lobby of the old Belmont Hotel, and the original front desk is now used as a bar for private functions. The floor-to-ceiling windows and unusual L-shape setting make the Sam Houston Ballroom a bright and airy space for private occasions.

Our expert chefs offer buffet, plated or reception-style service with flexible beverage packages. Some of our wedding menus include champagne toasts or complimentary ice sculptures.

We provide complimentary centerpieces that include mirror tiles, hurricane globes and votive candles. We will also coordinate flowers and other decorative elements. The hotel offers cream-colored chair covers and floor-length tablecloths. We can also assist in contacting DJs, bands or any type of entertainment you wish. Complimentary dance floor and staging are available. Many brides choose to depart in a horse-drawn carriage. Arrangements can be made by the hotel.
