But when you're ready for some true downtime, relax in one of our comfortable hotel guestrooms, with free Internet. If work is pressing, our Business Center is open 24 hours a day. That means your schedule is the priority, not ours. Since folks can't really predict when they're going to want a snack or need an aspirin, you can pick up something from our shop called The Market any time. Maryland has so many things to do, both locally and in surrounding area. In our own charming town, you can tour the Gaithersburg Community Museum, housed in a restored 1884 B&O Railroad Station. Or cool off by visiting the Water Park at Bohrer Park, and so much more. It's nice to know you can take advantage of the close proximity to Washington, DC, without all its traffic and parking issues. Our property is just three miles from the closest DC Metro Station. Lovers of history will enjoy seeing the White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial, to name a few. The Smithsonian has so many venues to enjoy. Standouts include: the Air and Space Museum, Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, and the National Portrait Gallery. Little is more thrilling than seeing thoroughbreds race, so head to Pimlico Race Course to see who is running. You'll be happy to know we're close to all the area's major airports.
