Big. Easy. It's here with us in the French Quarter.
Be captivated. At the Chateau Bourbon in magical New Orleans you really do get the best of it all. It's where oversized fun meets the simplicity of being in the center of things, right here in the heart of the French Quarter. Where soaring 12-foot ceilings are combined with everything you need under a single roof. This neoclassical gem offers you antebellum charm with all the modern hotel conveniences you could ever want.
Two lush courtyards. One unforgettable good time.
Built in 1849 to be the D.H. Holmes Department Store, this historic hotel is home to some of the largest hotel guest rooms in the French Quarter. Many rooms and suites have balconies where you can choose to overlook the pool, courtyards or fabled Bourbon Street. Sample southern cuisine or sip an ice-cold cocktail in one of our two restaurants, or at a favorite among locals: our own Clock Bar. When work edges out playtime, we offer a fully equipped Business Center. Those planning a memorable professional gathering or stylish wedding are sure to appreciate our thousands of square feet of customizable event space.
All that jazz.
New Orleans – it's synonymous with an all-around good time. There is so much to do and see while you're here. Since we sit right on Bourbon Street, the French Quarter is just outside your door. But be sure to check out some of our other local activities such as: the Audubon Aquarium, Insectarium and the National D-Day Museum. Of course the night belongs to jazz, so do enjoy some live music. Ragtime, blues, zydeco...whatever your taste is, the city just hums with it. Don't forget, our convenient location means we're walking distance to the business district and just 13 miles from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
