Oklahoma City is the capital of our beautiful state, but it's also the epicenter for a very good time. While you're staying at the Wyndham Garden Oklahoma City Airport Hotel, pick up tickets to see a touring production of a Broadway show at our deco Civic Center Music Hall or to watch the Redhawks play. Lovers of the outdoors will want to spend some time at the Chicasaw National Recreation Area – it's the first national park in our great state. Kids will love a visit to the planetarium at the Science Museum of Oklahoma. Then take them to enjoy the thrills and chills of the western-themed Frontier City Amusement Park. Our State Fair Park hosts events all year long, including some very impressive horse racing and rodeos. And no visit to Oklahoma City would be complete without a visit to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Oklahoma City Museum of Art

This venue features visiting exhibits, selections from its own collection and a theater showing foreign, independent and classic films. The museum features the world's most extensive collection of glass by world-famous artist Dale Chihuly.

Civic Center Music Hall

Founded in 1937, this spectacular Art Deco structure has five unique stages and has been newly renovated. It features ballet, opera, Broadway show tours and even concerts.

Stage Center for the Performing Arts

John Johansen, the internationally acclaimed architect, designed the theatre and received the prestigious American Institute of Architects Honors Award for its modern design. The multi-use facility reopened in 1992 and has been a hub of activity in the downtown area ever since.

Chicasaw National Recreation Area

Springs, streams, and lakes are part of the attractions at the first national park in the state of Oklahoma. Swimming, boating, hiking and cycling are popular ways to enjoy the great outdoors.

Myriad Botanical Gardens

Discover this breathtaking paradise nestled in the heart of downtown. The venue features 17 acres of colorfully landscaped gardens surrounding a thousand species of plants in the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory, designed by the world-famous I. M. Pei.

The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum

This venue houses more than 28,000 Western and American Indian art works and artifacts. It's also home to the most extensive collection of American rodeo photographs, barbed wire, saddlery, and early rodeo trophies in the world. A truly one-of-a-kind experience.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial

Museum and memorial dedicated to the victims and survivors of the 1995 bombing in Oklahoma City of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The venue is dedicated to educating visitors about the impact of violence, and inspiring hope and healing through lessons learned by those affected.

Oklahoma City Zoo

Established in 1904, the zoo has exhibits to capture anyone's interest. Visit the Butterfly Garden, the Cat Forest and Lion Overlook, or the Pachyderm Building, to name a few.

Science Museum of Oklahoma

This venue is a hands-on learning environment for families and general science enthusiasts. Check out the planetarium, Dome Theater, fascinating exhibits and more.

Sports & Amusement

AT&T Bricktown Ballpark

Opened in 1998, this is home of our own RedHawks – the Triple A affiliate of the Texas Rangers pro baseball team. Come watch them throw some heat.

Bricktown Entertainment District

Once a major warehouse district, today it's a growing entertainment area downtown. It's the home to the AT&T Bricktown Ballpark and the navigable Bricktown Canal. Other attractions include the Oklahoma Land Run monument, numerous bars and dance clubs, casual and fine dining restaurants, and retail shops.

Ford Center

This sports arena and convention center is home to the world-class Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team. It's the place to cheer them on as they battle it out on the court.

Frontier City Amusement Park

For more than 50 years, this has been the place to have a flat-out good time. This Wild-West-themed amusement park features the classic wooden rollercoaster the Wildcat, the 51-foot Mindbender and more.

State Fair Park

This year-round venue hosts many of the major annual competitive breed and event horse shows in the nation, such as the American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show and Sale, and the Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show. Plus, it's home to bazaars, livestock expos, boat shows, craft fairs, and much more.

Whitewater Bay Water Park

This is a 38,000-square-foot indoor water park. Choose between the Lott-a-Watta-Bay cliffs or the Tak-it-eesi-Creek. Then try the Avalanche family raft ride or the Tall Timbers Tree House water slides.
