 This course, one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean, was designed by the celebrated architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. on an area of more than 370 acres, and was open in 1997. Playa Grande Golf Course was built with an amazing seaside layout, where 10 of the 18 holes lie right on water's edge, 200 feet above the ocean. The golf course is located in Rio San Juan Province, about 95km from Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata. This course, one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean, offers 18 challenging holes played with caddies or carts, a nice casual restaurant, and spectacular ocean vistas. This breathtaking course features nine amazing holes on sea cliffs, overlooking Caribbean blue waters. The golf course is located in Rio San Juan Province, about 95km from Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata. |

| From the Puerto Plata airport, take the road No 5. After about 75 km, pass Río San Juan and stay on road No 5 for another 5 km. The club is on the left side. The club is also located about 90km from the Arroyo Barril airport. |
