Your modern oasis between the Atlantic and Pacific.
Be rested. At the Wyndham Garden Panama City Hotel, you'll find everything you need to truly unwind. Yes we are located near bustling downtown, but here you'll enjoy an unmistakable sense of calm. It could be the tranquility of double-paned windows or our remarkably professional staff that makes things feel so relaxed. But we believe it's so much more. It's about being close to business and banking centers. It's about being able to send a fax when you need to. It's about the chance to do some cardio, anytime. Simply put, it all adds up to something special. Completed in 2010, this multi-million dollar hotel is as unique as Panama City itself.
Work or workout – without ever leaving the hotel.
Whether you're our guest for business or pleasure, you just can't help but appreciate our combination of old-world customer service and up-to-the-minute amenities. In our sun drenched, modern lobby we offer free Wi-Fi, so you're never out of touch. Our Business Center is open 24 hours a day – because it's all about your convenience, not ours. It's the perfect place to finish a report, print a boarding pass, or just check email. Don't forget our Gym & Fitness Center never closes, so you're welcome to burn a few calories anytime. If you're in the mood for a meal or maybe just a cocktail, stop by our own Tree Restaurant, with its full bar. When it's time to completely relax, head to one of our comfortable guestrooms, with crisp 100% cotton sheets and flat-screen TVs. Our Front Desk Staff acts as the concierge, so if you need a restaurant recommendation, directions or anything else, please ask. It's nice to know all key staff members speak at least two languages. Remember, all of Panama City, Panama, including our hotel, uses 120-volt electrical current, just like the United States. So there is no need to take up precious luggage space with power converters.
Old Panama or the newest contemporary art – there's just so much to see here.
There are so many interesting local activities to enjoy while you're here that we hope you'll come back and be our guest again soon. Of course, Panama City's most famous landmark is the Panama Canal that links two great oceans. A wonderful vantage point to see this triumph of engineering in action is the Miraflores Lock Visitor's Center. Plus, the Canal Museum offers so much fascinating history of the canal and its construction. To see the glory of what mother nature can create, take time to visit Metropolitan National Park. It offers spectacular views, hiking trails, and so much more. The park is found within the almost extinct pacific dry forest and it's even within Panama City limits. For a taste of true Panamanian culture, stroll the lovely streets of Casco Viejo. Great ruins and a glimpse of what life was like here in the 14th century are yours to explore in Old Panama. Lovers of art will want to see Museo de Arte Contemporaneo with its wonderful collection of oil paintings and watercolors. For something truly exciting, check out President Remon Racetrack. It's the place to see thoroughbred horses race – the track is located in nearby Juan Diaz. Since we are just 15 minutes from Tocumen International Airport, you can be sure getting to your gate is a breeze. Don't forget you must have a valid passport for international travel to Panama.
