Stroll along the harbor – or visit Twin River Casino.

Providence is nicknamed the Renaissance City, and it's for good reason. Both Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design have excellent museums that are worth visiting. Or step back in time and visit some breathtaking mansions along the coast in Newport. These rambling estates were once the summer homes of some of the most famous families in America. Those who'd enjoy a night of entertainment, the Dunkin Donuts Center features great live performances of music, comedy and more. For something truly relaxing, the hiking and biking trails along the sprawling India Point Park are wonderful for exploring. Perhaps best of all, this 80,000-square-foot park is right outside our door. With exhibits as varied as Marco Polo Trail, Austrailasia, and the Fabric of Africa, the whole family will want to visit the Roger Williams Park and Zoo. To experience a different kind of fun, we suggest the grown-ups check out the Twin River Casino in nearby Lincoln. There are so many things to see and to do in Providence that we hope you'll return and be our guest at the Wyndham Garden Providence hotel again and again.
