Wyndham Sapphire Beach Club and Resort
Planning
Located about 150 southeast of Puerto Rico, flights from the continental U.S. to Philipsburg, St. Maarten, are frequent. The island is sunny and warm year-round, averaging 82 degrees Fahrenheit in summer and just two degrees cooler in winter. It is a great place to have a wedding and honeymoon any season.

Our Wedding Coordinator and staff lavish individual attention on each couple and their guests, long before they arrive. From the moment you contact us, we will focus on your every wish - accommodations for you and your guests, wedding location, ceremony, flowers, cuisine, an exquisite cake, music - to make sure you have the wedding and reception of your dreams. Newlyweds stay relaxed and focused on each other and enjoy their special day at one of the Caribbean's most spectacular and romantic locations.

At the Wyndham Sapphire Beach Club & Resort, our full-time Activities Desk will assist you and your guests in making the most of your time on St. Maarten. Whether you want to day sail to a nearby island, take a sunset cruise, scuba dive, go fishing or shopping, play the casinos or dine on the best food in the Caribbean, we will help make your every dream come true.

Ceremonies
At the Wyndham Sapphire Beach Club & Resort, most couples choose to tie the knot on spectacular Cupecoy Beach at sunset. Some even choose to get married underwater. Philipsburg, the Dutch capital, is nearby and offers a variety of religious and secular locations.

The French require that both the bride and groom be resident in French St. Martin for at least a month before a marriage ceremony. As a result, most marriages take place on the Dutch side where the residency requirement is only one week. Fortunately, the Wyndham Sapphire Beach Club & Resort is on the Dutch side of the island. Whether you are getting married or renewing wedding vows, our Wedding Coordinator will make sure that your dreams come true.

Celebrations
Imagine a celebration surrounded by unspoiled, tropical splendor. Our poolside Sapphire Café is an open-air café that typically serves international cuisine and fresh seafood. Set among tropical gardens with a fabulous view of the Caribbean Sea, the Sapphire Café is a great place to hold a wedding reception or wedding party meal.

Both the French and Dutch sides of the island offer a tremendous variety of cuisine and entertainment choices. Philipsburg, the Dutch capital since 1768, is a bustling Old World town with a heavy West Indies flavor and festival atmosphere.

On the French side, Grand Case is a little fishing village that is famous for some of the island's best restaurants. Marigot, the French capital, is only eight miles from the Wyndham Sapphire Beach Club & Resort and home to elegant cafés and exquisite French cuisine.
