San Francisco Museum of Modern Art The first museum on the West Coast devoted entirely to art of the 20th Century. It's the place to see works by Warhol, Matisse, Pollack and more. This Beaux Arts structure was completed in 1932 and seats more than 3,100. It's the place to see the San Francisco Ballet and the San Francisco Opera.
