And that it's the little things that can make a big difference. We're proud to say that among others, the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa has won the coveted meetings and conventions Gold Tee Award for the last nine years in a row. We have 48,000 square feet of space spread over 14 rooms, including a truly Grand Ballroom. Plus, the property boasts thousands of square feet of usable outside space. Our secluded beach, a lavish garden and our unique Ocean Terrace with stunning water views, are all great options. When the workday is done, remember we have kayaks, Sun Fish and a lovely secluded beach.

Not to be outdone by the venue itself, all our spaces are backed up by state-of-the-art technology and audio-visual support. In fact, we have AV experts on-site. This is seamless interaction at its best. Of course, all rooms are wired with high-speed Internet access. Customized events with unique themes are our forte; so, all catering is done to your exact specifications, but with a wonderful tropical flair. Our Destination Management Company partner can handle almost any request, including a tropical lunch in the adjacent forest or theme decor.

Small Groups

Intimate gatherings are a passion of ours. At 280 square feet, our smallest event room seats 10 people comfortably. Rest assured that the attention to detail we offer our larger groups is always evident when we host a smaller gathering. Rest assured your personal Event Coordinator is the single point of contact for execution of your event.

Larger Groups

With 48,000 square feet of customizable meeting space, we can accommodate an event for up to 3,000. From custom menu suggestions to layout, we are happy to help you plan your gathering down to the smallest detail. For these gatherings, our highly skilled Event Coordinator is on hand to ensure things go off more smoothly than you can imagine.

Beach Gatherings: We're happy to reserve you a private portion of our secluded beach, and we can accommodate up to 150 attendees.

Fire Pit: Perfect for adding a little extra ambience when hosting a casual gathering or evening drinks.

Gazebo: This charming site is an ideal solution for a quiet cocktail event or photo op.

Grand Ballroom: This stunning ballroom is nearly 21,000 square feet and can be divided into eight smaller spaces if needed. It will hold up to 1,710 guests.

Caribbean Ballroom: Our "smaller" ballroom is a sprawling 6,485 square feet.

Ocean Terrace: This terrace runs the length of our Conference Center and offers wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean. It's ideal for an outdoor lunch or mixer.

Vista Verde Garden: Transform an ordinary business get-together into a Caribbean getaway. We can accommodate up to 3,000 guests in this garden that sits on the edge of our secluded beach.
