Opened in 1992, the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa is located mountainside, on the water, with it’s own secluded beach. Offering 300 rooms situated on 34 tropical acres. Additionally, in 2006 we completed an extensive multi-million dollar renovation. Including guest rooms, meeting space, lobby, pools, and restaurants.

The Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa offers an EP (european plan) as well as an all-inclusive plan. Our All inclusive plans includes room, all meals, beverages (house brand liquor and house wine, beer), recreation, entertainment, non-motorized watersports, fitness center, tax and gratuities, all for one low price. Airport transfers are not included.

At the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa we take every step to be an environmentally conscious ("green") hotel. We recycle, we are completely self-contained and have our own power plant, desalinization plant, and water treatment plant. Additionally, we recycle for irrigation, and we remind our guests in many ways throughout their stay of how they can help us "save trees." Finally, we are also quite proud to be an iguana breeding sanctuary and include our famous "iguana feeding" in the kids program.

Typically, our best rates are available between Memorial Day and Thanksgiving. High Season, which yields the highest rates, runs from Christmas through Easter.

We have four lighted tennis courts , basketball, jogging track. For the water junkie, we can help equip you go out on a catamaran, jet ski, sail, kayak or even help you go parasailing, snorkeling or SCUBA diving. Also on property our newest addition is our mini-golf course and electic water bumper boats, both available at an additional charge. Our state of the art fitness center including treadmills, elliptical machines, free weights as well as nautilus weight machines. With a variety of fitness classes available and water aerobics daily.

You can see St. John from our property. The island is a mere fifteen-minute ferry ride away.You can catch the ferry from Red Hook only 5 minutes from the propety.

There is no charge to access the fitness center facilities. A day pass is available at an additional fee for guests who wish to use the spa facilities, such as steam rooms and saunas. Professional spa services and treatments are available for an additional cost and include access to the spa facilities. If you are interested in these options, please be sure to ask us about our spa package.

Tasteful attire is always encouraged at all Wyndham Resorts. We encourage beachwear for the pool and beach. Shoes are required for all restaurants including our casual Mangrove Restaurant for lunch. We recommend Resort Casual dress in all other areas. Manor House and Tuscany fine dining in the evening requires collared shirts and slacks or dress shorts. The Manor House and Tuscany Restaurant do not allow flip flops, tank tops, etc.

At Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa we also have our popular "Kids Club." Designed for 4-12 year olds, our Kids Club has supervised children's entertainment program, with Iguana Feeding, t-shirt painting, treasure hunts and more. Available from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Kids Club also shows family movies in the evenings.

Gratuities are not included in your room only rate (EP rate). While gratuities are included in your All Inclusive Plan additional tips are encouraged for exceptional service.

Passports are not needed for U.S. citizens who can enter or exit with a valid driver's license and birth certificate. However, for a day trip to the British Virgin Islands, a passport, birth certificate or voter's registration card is required. We strongly encourage you to bring your passport with you as it dramatically expedites processing.
