From the moment you contact our Wedding Coordinator, we'll be working with you to create the wedding of your dreams. Tell us your choice of guest accommodations, amenities, wedding locations, flowers, cake and cuisine, and leave the planning up to our professional staff. Sugar Bay offers a variety of all-inclusive wedding, vow renewal, reception and honeymoon specials. We take care of every detail, including contracting a photographer and/or videographer, and handling legal arrangements for you. Every wedding is unique. Some are very formal affairs; others are very casual featuring the 'barefoot elegance' of a beach ceremony.

St. Thomas is a spectacular island to create the memories of a lifetime. Couples often return to celebrate anniversaries with us. You don't have to leave U.S. Territory to enjoy a spectacular Caribbean wedding and honeymoon.

Ceremonies

Suspended 100 feet above the water, St. John Terrace is our most popular wedding ceremony location. Spectacular views of the U.S. and British Virgin Islands provide dramatic backdrops for your wedding-day photos. Featuring a gazebo and gleaming white tiles, over 80 percent of our brides and grooms choose to tie the knot on the Terrace. Our beach, considered one of the world's most beautiful, is an equally romantic and intimate location to say, 'I do.'

For ceremonies at the resort, we most often use a nondenominational minister. We do, however, accommodate other ceremonial preferences. We will work with you to personalize your ceremony and vows. Whatever style, location or denomination wedding you desire, our Wedding Coordinator will make sure that your dreams come true.

Celebrations

Because St. Thomas is a Caribbean island, our climate is perfect for outdoor, as well as indoor, wedding celebrations. Whether the celebration is for two or a hundred, we have exquisite cuisine, the perfect location, and impeccable service to make your occasion an unforgettable event.

We will recommend an ideal resort location, based upon your wedding party size and type of reception you wish to host. Our chef loves to accommodate special requests. We have a wide range of exotic and elegant floral arrangements to choose from. Musical options include DJs or reggae, calypso, rock and steel-drum bands. St. Thomas offers a surprising variety of talented entertainers. We offer reception packages that feature either buffet or sit-down service, an exquisite wedding cake, champagne and a full open bar. Tropical themes featuring exotic floral decorations are most popular, but we can create a theme that is the perfect statement of your love.

Vow Renewals

Imagine having a wedding coordinator to arrange your "Vow Renewal Wishes" from the initial phone call to the final picture. I can facilitate the planning for a vow renewal of two or a grand event for many guests. We have 2 breathtaking locations for your ceremony:

The following information will help you plan your vow renewal. You will find the package, popular optional extras and Vow Renewal Wishes (a form you can fax back to me with your requests). There are no legal requirements for a vow renewal.

A few things to keep in mind, we do not hold ceremonies on Sunday. A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold the time and date of the ceremony, upon signing the Letter of Agreement. The balance of your ceremony package is due one month before the wedding. A 20% service charge applies to all wedding ceremony packages and additions. Weddings are booked separate from your room nights.
