“What could possibly go wrong?”

When I arrived I was told the room I had reserved was not available. This could have been a major problem because I have to have a fridge due to keeping medication cold, however, the wonderful lady behind the counter upgraded me for no additonal cost which was wonderful. She was the highlight of the entire stay. I wish I had her name so I could call the hotel and brag on her. Unfortunately this was the only good thing about the experience (the lady at the check-in). When I arrived in my room I quickly placed my medicine in the fridge, and when I looked up to the ceiling I noticed black mold seeping through the freshly painted ceiling. This tells me it is probably toxic mold, of which I am HIGHLY allergic to. I called to alert them about this and it took almost a half hour to get someone to actually talk to me. While I was on "hold" my daughter plugged up her cell phone and decided to move it from one area of the room to the other and when she unplugged it from the wall the entire room's lights and television blinked and made a horrible sound. This tells me there are electrical problems. I also had an incredibly hard time getting onto the wifi. They did send someone up to the room to assist me with this, but by the time they arrived to my room to assist me I had already figured it out. When I received my bill a few days later they had overcharged me by $52. When I called them to ask why they were RUDE and couldn't tell me why. They just kept saying they hadn't charged me extra. I had to go to the bank and debate the charge. I called the corporate office in New Jersey, and the lady that I spoke to "Peggy" was incredibly belittling and patronizing. She basically dismissed me, and laughed at me.
