“In the middle of construction/renovation...”

  , Albuquerque, New Mexico, Usa
Much of the resort was torn down due to reconstruction. In my opinion they should just keep going. Tear the whole thing down and start anew. Owing to all the construction on site at the time, there was a planned outage of water from 12:00am to 4:00am on March 21. For some reason I was never made aware of this, although I know that guests staying in other rooms were notified via letters under the door. I never received any such letter. So when the water outage continued until at least 8:00am the next morning I had no idea what was going on. It would have been nice to know about this beforehand rather than be surprised by the sudden absence of any water. What? Is this a hotel or a Carnival Cruise Ship? And this last part is going to sound a little tinfoil hat-like, but Wyndham has the apparent capability to insert content onto your smartphone or tablet without your consent if you connect to their WiFi, even partially. While I was looking at their WiFi startup page and contemplating paying the $10 per day for WiFi access (not complimentary? BOO!) I received an email on the tablet device (Android) giving me instructions how to connect even though I hadn't agreed to any charges. This email was received to a native mail app tied to an account other than the one I used to register, meaning that Wyndham somehow inserted it directly to my device. Do not trust their network. If they can put stuff on your tablet then they can probably read its content as well.
