Dawei Mountain National Forest Park
With its dense forest, abundant resources and beautiful scenery, Dawei Mountain National Forest Park is known as "the Green Pearl of Eastern Hunan." Visitors to the park will see 23 plant species, 17 tree species and 14 species of rare animals along with 1,200 species of butterflies.
Rich in history and beautiful architecture, the area around Hunan University offers many great places to eat in the studious atmosphere of the various campus' south of Yuelushan. Mao Zedong attended Hunan University, and visitors can see a statue in his honor on the campus.
Mt. Yuelu is located on the west bank of Xiang River with a number of scenic spots such as Lushan Temple and White Crane Spring.
