Golden Sand Beach (6 km)

Qingdao No. 1 Beach (24 km)
Since 1988, thousands have visited this romantic setting, which translates as "the furthermost part of the sky and sea." Tianya Haijiao gets its name from antiquated beliefs that the sky was square and therefore finite. The Chinese had long believed that Hainan Island, and Tianya Haijiao in particular, was the precise location on earth where the sky ends against the edge of the ocean. Stone carvings dot the tranquil terrain at this beach destination, popular with couples as a truly spectacular wedding ceremony location.

Silver Sand Beach (0 km)
Located on the southern tip of Huangdao's rustic coastline, Silver Sand Beach is just south of Golden Sand Beach and affords sun-worshippers the chance to repose away from crowds.

Zhan Qiao, The Pier (22 km)
As the first wharf built in Qingdao, this 440-meter long pier extends into the sea and provides a panoramic view of the bay, the Qingdao skyline and is a great spot to kick off a self-guided tour of Qingdao.


Haixin Square (31 km)
