“Worst experience we have ever had”

When we arrived the hotel was overbooked due to spring break. I had called prior to my stay and asked if the hotel was far enough away to not have spring break parties and issues and was told we do not have anyone here under 25 years of age unless they are children with an adult. I arrived to find young adults sitting outside at 4am and when we got into our room it was not the upgraded 1 bedroom it was a standard room. This room was filthy and the next morning I went to the front desk to resolve our issue. We were told that they did not have any available rooms. I asked for a manager and the front desk supervisor stepped in he stated he could have a room cleaned and we could move our stuff when it was ready. We waited 4 hours and when we got to move into the new room it was filthy they did not dust there was red beverage spilled in the fridge. The bathroom was clean but the towels were damp. The sheets were clean but under the curtians and under the coffee table my daughter spotted beer cans. I am sure they were hurried and did not inspect. We had lost two days of vacation time dealing with this issue and so I called the mamanger he returned my call and said he would be available later that day to stop up at the front desk. I did just that and was told he was unavailable I left him a message he did not return that message so when I called the next morning I spoke to Holly she was able to credit the first night off our bill this was not exceptable I have never been so dissapointed and to make matters worse I am now sick and believe it was due to the lack of clenliness in the room. I have stayed with Wyndham Hotels many times and never experienced anything like this even in your knights inn brand. I have also been to many Marriott properties and have always had exceptional service and clean rooms.
