Wyndham Westshore in Tampa is centrally located to all tourist attractions. The hotel has a nice restaurant, happy hour and laundry services available. The only down side was trying to find the pool and gym. You have to exit on second floor and take the stairwell down. To come in from either site you have to enter into the main lobby. Entrances is with a room key only, so security is good. The other thing I did not like, was not having a microwave in the room. There was a coffee pot and a small ref rig (hidden in a cabinet) but no microwave. The staff was always pleasant and willing to answer any questions we had to finding things. The room I stayed in was large and the surroundings were maintained. The quietness is not the best, since I could hear the shower next door and the doors slam in the hall. I never felt the lack of security that you can get in some hotels. The tour attractions were within 30 minutes and the hotel also offers shuttle within a limited radius of the hotel. « less
