This hotel was decent for the price. The room was an "updated" room but wasn't the greatest. The walls were recently painted with a new TV but that was about it. the pillows were as flat as the sheets, the covers were clean but looked like they were 30+ years old. the room was "dingy" one of the beds was completely made but only had 2 flat pillows, the other bed didn't have a fitted sheet on it at all it just had 2 top flat sheets. The floor wasn't very clean looking and I made sure everyone kept their feet covered at all times!!!! the bathtub was stained and I do believe there was blood stains on the wall. the water pressure in the shower was the best I have had in a hotel. Wi-Fi worked great. there was very little light in the hallways at night time and was kind of creepy. they have side doors but they are exit only. the hotel had a funny smell but nothing to bad. my room keys had to be reset everyday. right after check in and viewing the room we went to walmart and bought brand new sheets and blankets and pillows. I also bought Lysol and Lysol wipes. I wiped the whole room down myself including sink, toilet, and bathtub. the refrigerator had ice build up that looked disgusting and like it had been there for years. one of the outlets stopped working during my stay as well but I didn't say anything about it. the towels and wash clothes didn't look to safe either so I bought some of those as well. we ended up leaving the bed how it was and placing our sheets over them and we didn't use their pillows at all. the hotel stayed full our whole stay so they get pretty good business. breakfast hours are 6-9 which isn't very long and the breakfast room is very small. staff were nice and the lady who came to clean our room was as sweet as can be. the elevators are small as well. but it wasn't too bad considering we still stayed 4 days. there was a group of people that stayed hanging around outside and lobby area that were kind of scary at first but they seemed pretty nice as well. you get what you pay for and it was a little less of what I expected for the pay but it wasn't the worst I have seen and it was live-able. the stay wasn't bad and if needed to I would probably stay again but it wouldn't be my first choice nor would it be my last choice. it is right by a nice little strip with food and shopping.
