“Great location to walk to Downtown Disney!”

We visited over the long weekend to visit Magic Kingdom for the day. The location is really nice. The night we arrived, we walked right over to Downtown Disney for the evening, which provided a great atmosphere full of live street entertainment and just a nice evening. The shuttle to the park was very convenient and just one less thing to be concerned about. We did not wait very long. Once at the park, you must take the monorail or the ferry to the park, but the kids love the monorail so this was great. The hotel itself was nice. We stayed in the tower and I would recommend this. The view was lovely. The room was nice but a bit small but this was fine. Check-in was a nightmare. I will just be honest. We are Wyndham reward members and had a free night and they could not find us in their system and it literally took 1 hour for us to check in. This was just absolutely the last thing we expected. I had visions of being treated extra special, being a rewards member...instead we watched about 15 others be checked in during the time we waited for them to find us in their system, calling corporate etc. It was painful and when in Orlando, and hour spent checking in is just not expected. This was an unfortunate way to start our trip and makes me reconsider Wyndham properties. This is why I only gave 2 stars on Service. I had a reservation email and numbers and everything...
