“I'd stay here again.”

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding and set up a group contract with their sales manager. We worked with two different sales managers to set up the contract and it was extremely difficult to conduct business with them to say the least but we were able to get what we wanted in the end. My parents left welcome bags for all of the guests staying at the hotel for our wedding. When we checked in we felt like we were bothering the front desk staff- this is how it felt the entire week we stayed. Even when you call the front desk you hear a sigh as if you are bothering them. My wife and I were told that they didn't have a welcome bag for my wife and I. I spoke with my dad later on that day and he told me there was a bag for us with a cell phone in it. Went back down to the front desk to look for myself and there was our welcome bag. Our group contract and reservation stated that our room received free wi-fi. In order to honor this the front desk staff made me get on one of the computers in the business center and print out my reservation to show them. Even after showing them on the print out where it says "room comes with complimentary wi-fi" they tried saying that I couldn't have it. After insisting they honor it, they finally did. Our contract also stated that we were to receive a bottle of champagne the night of our wedding- there was no bottle of champagne. I went to the front desk, they sent me to concierge. Concierge had the nerve to say to me "Do you really care about the bottle of champagne?". As I mentioned earlier it was a pain in the neck to write out the group contract, so yes, I did care about the bottle of champagne. After they required that I print out my contract and give it to them, several phone calls with their group sales rep- Two days later my wife and I came into our room to find our bottle of champagne on ice with rose pedals and swans on our bed and a heart shaped cake. I'll admit this all made up somewhat for what they put us through. Overall the front desk is close to worthless, the bell staff is awesome and friendly- they greet you every time you walk in. The breakfast is pretty good, with a wide range of food- I'd op for the daily breakfast if its an option- much of the time its included. The pool is nice, pool bar staff was so-so. They need to do something about their sliding glass doors- They whistle obnoxiously when its windy.
