“BAD customer service! TIMESHARE nightmare”

Upon arrival at the airport- the pre-arranged transfers we made through the hotel were MIA. We had to wander around and try to find transportation. Then, upon our arrival at the hotel we had the wrong room- which was a big problem because there were 3 adults (my husband and I and my girlfriend) and one bed. The hotel had nothing to offer us because they had overbooked- so my girlfriend had to sleep on a rollaway. There were several other people at the front desk complaining of the same exact problem simultaneously. The next day we were moved to a different room after getting very demanding. This room did have 2 beds- but furniture was missing (like the sleeper-couch in the sitting area!) to obviously try to accommodate other people who had been given wrong room types. It also isn't fun to pack up your room and move to another one. The TIMESHARE people are relentless and downright rude. They bother you the entire time you are at this hotel- to the point that we found ourselves trying to find alternate routes other than going through the main lobby. It was ridiculous. The front desk was a joke! If you needed anything- good luck. Especially after 5pm! There was literally one person working in the lobby after that. On a daily basis, we had to go get new keys because you would get to your room and they would not work. It became a joke amongst us (we had 12 people total travelling together) as to whether or not we should take our chances with going all the way to our room- or just brave the timeshare people and go to the front desk and get a new one to avoid having to make a roundtrip! I will say- we got a very good deal on this vacation- so I guess "you get what you pay for" comes to mind! As an avid traveler that worked in the event/travel industry for 20+ years- I would recommend that you spend a but more to avoid this place. I am surprised that Wyndham puts their company logo on this property. All that said- the pool was nice, and the rooms were decent and clean.....the view was beautiful and the pool waiter made everything a bit better! He was great!
