Turtle Sanctuary Package
The highlight of the Turtle Sanctuary Package at the Wyndham Estrella Del Mar Resort Mazatlan in Mexico is a visit to the Estrella del Mar Turtle Sanctuary. The sanctuary operates the largest privately funded Sea Turtle Preservation and Adopt a Sea Turtle programs in Mexico. They hatch, protect and release more than 150,000 sea turtles a year. The summer months of July - September are optimum for watching the collection and saving of turtle eggs in the sanctuary; the months of August - December offer viewing the emergence of the newly hatched turtles from the sand and their journey back to the sea.
