“No shuttle & bad maintenance”

Our stay at Wyndham Tulsa started off very badly.We had set up the shuttle to pick up myself, my husband and two children ages 8 & 4 from the airport by 11:45 PM.I had confirmed this the night before and prior to our flight. Once we got our luggage, I called Wyndham Tulsa to let them know that we are ready to be picked up. They said they would be right out. After 45 minutes, no shuttle so I called to find out what was going on. They rudely asked if I had made a reservation for the shuttle and I replied yes. They said we are very busy now and didn't have time to deal with this. I explained that we reserved the shuttle and were told it was coming. They said the shuttle driver never showed up to work. I said we'll I have two small children here, it is almost midnight and now we have transportation since they were suppose to pick us up. Finally they said they would send a cab to get and they said the cab would be there in fifteen minutes. Well one hour later the cab finally showed up. We finally got to the hotel around 1:45pm. At the front desk, they never apologized for their error, but complained about how much the cab cost.We had an event at 9 am the next day and were very late and tired because of their screw up. Everyone was very tired all day,Also, in the pool area, there were 6 ceiling lights that were burnt out. It made the end section of the pool very dark which is dangerous when trying to watch children when the sun goes down. I brought this up to the front desk, but nothing was done during my four day stay.Here is a list of some other issues:-The elevator indicator light was out so you could not tell what floor the elevator was on.-The ADA button to open the exterior doors did not work most of the time and the button was just about rubbed off.-The closer mechanism on many of the doors closed too fast which could cause injuries. The door to the business center and the exterior doors near the restaurant had this problem,-In our hotel room, a double, the beds felt old and uncomfortable.-Also, our room did not have a hotel information binder which is standard in all hotel rooms. -Every time we used the pool, we had to go to the front desk to get towels. This is hard because I had to bring my small children with me.-On the exterior of the building, the large sign had a cover missing over one of the letters which looked tacky.The good points...-the housekeeping and room service were courteous and did a good job.
