“Worst Ever”

Where to start? The "blackened chicken sandswich" had no blackened seasoning whatsoever, and was freezer burned. The "kobe beef hamburger" was dry, overcooked, and definitely not Kobe Beef. I've had better burgers at fast-food restaurants. I ate in the bar, and the only good thing about the place is the bartender. He was very nice. The TVs in the room were a problem, and even after I reported the issues there was no response or feedback. The bedroom TV didn't work at all, and the remote controls didn't work for the TV in the living room area. This is the second time I've stayed at the Wyndham Glenview and have had problems with the TV. Neither time were the TV issues corrected. The worst was Tuesday morning August 6th. I had just finished drying my hair when I heard someone opening the door to my room. Since I wasn't dressed I called out. As I peeked out the bathroom door I saw my room door close. I don't know who it was or why they were trying to enter my room. I had not called for any services that mornng, and I was staying in the room by myself so noone else had a room key. When I told the front desk as I was leaving they said "oh, the maid must have had the wrong room". That is completely unacceptable. I will not ever stay at this hotel again, and I'm letting my coworkers and clients know how inferior the service is there. One of my clients planned to have their annual meeting at your facility in a few months, and I told them all about my experience, even emphasising the need for outside catering since your food is so bad.
