All in all we had a plesent stay at the Wyndham mostly due to it's location. The hotel is as close as you can get to downtown Disney with plenty of other restaurants and shopping only a short drive away and many within walking distance. The hotel itself has a decent enough pool, tennis courts,  wifi bla bla bla. However this all comes at an additional charge and it's not optional. They call it a resort tax and apparently it is paid by every room at a cost of $16 per night. When I complained it turned out our booking had a special rate of $6... hmm. I don't care if it was $1 it should all be include in the room rate unless you have an option not to use it.  It would be unfair for me to rate the food as we only had breakfast there on one occasion which was the usual breakfast buffet at a charge of $25 plus tax, we got a far better breakfast up the road at Perkins for far less. (I guess if you eat a giant breakfast it cold be good value). The room itself was basic and dated but but on the up side it was clean. My biggest criticism was the majority of rooms were more motel than hotel and bolt onto the hotel like an afterthought. None of this was apparent in any of the photos or hotel description and it does mean that it lacks a hotel feel and experience.Staying at Wyndham wasn't a memorable hotel experience but it had no negative affect either, we where there to visit he Disney parks and fortunately due to it's location we didn't need to rely on the hotel for anything other than a bed and a shower so from that point of view it was sufficient and our kids thought the pool was great (until our first visit to typhoon lagoon)If I got it for the right price I'd consider staying again after all I didn't go for he hotel.
