“Awful service”

  , Philadelphia
The room was perfectly fine and would have gotten a 3-4 rating, but unfortunately, the service in the hotel is a 1, making my rating a 2 overall.I was there with a large group of guests for a wedding. You would think booking such a large group would get us some decent service. The worst was the woman working the breakfast on Sunday, October 6 (older, causasian woman, we didn't catch her name). She was a miserable person that was completely rude to everyone. The breakfast service ends at a certain time (I think it was 10:30am) - so the right way to close that off is to post a sign at the door at 10:30 and not let anyone else in after that time. Anyone that gets in before that should be able to get the same full service. Instead, this woman chose to rudely inform people that got in before the posted time that they would not be able to get omelettes because it was too close to 10:30. She also unplugged the waffle maker WHILE A GUEST WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MAKING A WAFFLE. When the guest asked why it wasn't working, this woman snapped, "that's because breakfast is over, I unplugged it." My friend were lucky enough to have made it before her arbitrary omelette cutoff, so we sat down in the dining room to eat. We managed to snag one fork and one spoon to use between the two of us before another worker snatched them away. The same woman from before then began loudly banging the chairs and dishes around to make it clear that our group was not welcome there. The food was not good at all, but it was included with the room, so I won't really harp on that. I would never stay here again, and will be sure to let everyone know not to stay there. This property is new to the Wyndham group, and clearly is not up to Wyndham standards.
