“not clean,poor cutsomer service”

  , Baltimore
We stayed in room 403 this weekend and were less than satisfied with our visit.1) Our room was dirty (while looking for my glasses, I found an old paper coffee cup and someone else's glasses underneath the bed, and nail polish behind the nightstand; the bathroom had stains on the wall near the toilet; and the lamp on the nightstand had cobwebs on it--check it, I am sure they're still there).2) We asked the front desk person for clean towels on Friday and she made a note and assured us they'd be replaced. Nothing. The next morning, we called down again and were told they'd be sent right up--nothing. Never did get them. Good thing I had a beach towel in my bag.3) The list of "convenience store" items in your guest book included milk for $2, which is wonderful, because I needed to give my daughter a bottle. When we asked the front desk for some, we were told you didn't carry milk and the restaurant might be able to help us. They could, but we were charged $3.25 for one cup.4) We called room service on Saturday morning. They answered and said "Good morning, this is so and so (wish I had gotten her name)." I said, "Hi, I'd like to place and order for ..." and was about to finish my sentence when she barked "Please hold" and put me on hold. RUDE.5) We were traveling with a baby and had lots of items to bring in. When I explained that to the front desk upon check in, we weren't offered help or given advice as to how to get it to the room. I found a luggage cart (heavy, old and hard to maneuver) and loaded everything myself. I then struggled to get it through the revolving doors. Two other women staying there had to help and eventually we made it. getting it upstairs was another struggle. So, within minutes of arriving I was sweaty, aggravated and exhausted, and I had a crying baby who needed attention. I've never been to a hotel that doesn't offer help with bags.6) When we got settled in, we were happy to see the sleep number beds -- but then were also immediately disappointed that one of them was not working.Needless to say, our experience was less than pleasant.
