I was very disappointed in the hotel's policy to enter a room with a do not disturb sign. It is there policy to enter a room on the third day if the do not disturb sign was on the door. They put a notice under the door each day but it also indicated that we should call the front desk if we needed anything. I was hoping that since I was checking out on the forth day, they would use some judgement a know that I didn't need any service. That was not the case. They explained to me that it is their policy to check rooms for food service trays make the beds and to put fresh towels in the room. In my case I have stuff spread out all over my second bed and they moved it all onto the counter and made both beds. I was checking out the next day and can't believe they would even think about moving someones personal stuff just to make a bed that I was fine having it the way it was for the previous two days. I was not happy at all and made sure to complain about the policy on check-out. The clerk and someone that came out from the back just defended the policy and didn't even acknowledge my point of view. Not sure if this is a franchise policy or local policy but it is the first time this has ever happened to me.
