Strand Historic District
The Strand Historic District and nearby Postoffice Arts and Entertainment District offer a collection of antique shops, art galleries, restaurants and boutiques. Each year, The Strand hosts the Galveston Island Food and Wine Festival, Galveston Island Shrimp Festival, Lone Star Rally and Dickens on The Strand.
Pier 21 Theater

Pirates! Legends of the Gulf Coast/Haunted Mayfield Manor

Texas Seaport Museum
Home of the 1877 tall ship Elissa, a National Historic Landmark. The Texas Seaport Museum celebrates maritime history with special exhibits, educational programs, and a computer database with names of more than 133,000 immigrants who came to this country through Galveston.

Galveston's newest amusement park attraction is fun for the entire family. Challenge Pirate's Plunge, Iron Shark Rollercoaster, Sky Shooter and other thrill rides, or enjoy great food, shopping, live entertainment and games.
Pier 21 offers three options for visitors who want to explore the harbor – Harbor Tours aboard the Seagull II, BayWatch Dolphin Tours and Jet Boat Thrill Rides.
Moody Gardens Galveston Island
Explore the Rainforest, Discovery, and Aquarium Pyramids or catch a film at the 3-D IMAX Theatre. Visitors can enjoy a 45-minute cruise around Offats Bayou, or lounge on the white sand at Palm Beach. This theme park attraction is located near the Scholes International Airport at Galveston.

Lone Star Rally Weekend
