“5 Good Nights in Boston - Thanksgiving 2012”

  , Mableton
From the first time I called this location, through the stay, till checkout, the staff was as nice as they could be! I asked for foam (or at least non-feather) pillows and they gave them to us. The best thing about the room itself were the beds (and pillows) were excellent for a good night's sleep! Wifi was free and fine also. There is no free Breakfast. Like most hotel rooms, it was dry for my sinuses, but this is not a negative for this hotel over any other, but the "no free breakfast" and dry air would be my only negatives. Though not near a T station, the shuttle to the Airport goes right to a T station in about 20 mintues, and if sightseeing in Boston - is perfect! You can get to several places on the Freedom Trail from there in minutes on the T and the hotel staff can tell you what lines and stations to use to get to your destination. There is a Dunkin Donuts across the stree (like everywhere in Boston) and the area was fine in the daytime. I walked over for breakfast a few times. I really had no need to walk around there at night, so I don't know about that. This hotel was just right for us and I will stay here again, if the price is still as good - with tax and surcharges we paid a little over $100 per night. The other negative is not about the hotel, but about driving in Boston! Don't do it unless you absolutely have to. Drivers are crazy and roads are in poor condition and confusing even with a GPS and this is coming from me, someone who is widely regarded by friends and family as having very good navigational skills!
