The Viva Wyndham Diving store is located on the connected beach road, between Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach and Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace. The Viva Wyndham Diving Center is open seven days a week from 8:30am to 12:30pm and from 2:00pm to 5:30pm. The Viva Wyndham diving staff consists of international teams with English-, French-, Dutch-, German-, Spanish- and Italian- speaking PADI-certified Instructors and Divemaster. Viva Wyndham's Diving Center offers a complimentary in-pool introductory scuba diving lesson to all guests staying at Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach, Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace, Viva Wyndham Playa Dorada and Viva Wyndham Samaná.

For an additional cost, Viva Wyndham's Diving Center features a variety of PADI diving courses, offering guests the opportunity to earn scuba certification at the end of their underwater adventure.

Viva Wyndham Diving offers to certified divers daily dive trips. The dive deport leave in front of the Viva Wyndham Diving store. We use fully equipped fast boats. A certified PADI instructor or divemaster is underwater with the divers at all times, and the maximum ratio of diver/dive guide is 6 to 1. Boat rides are a maximum of 35 minutes. Gear Rental is available at the Viva Wyndham Diving store. Prices ($USD) include: Wet suit ($2), BCD ($2), Regulator ($2), Fins, Mask & Snorkel ($2) and Light ($5).

• 8:30am (two-tank dive)The first is a deep dive (around 60/90ft 18/30m), the second one is the shallow dive between 40/50ft 12/16m. We always have at least 30 to 40 minutes surface interval between each dive.
• 2:30pm (one-tank dive)
• 7:00pm (night dive) - a shallow dive between 40/50ft 12/16m

Viva Wyndham Diving offers guided snorkel tours in Catalinita Island, Catalina and in Bayahibe Coral Reef.

Catalinita Island
Daily snorkel trips leave at 8:30am in front of the Viva Wyndham Diving store. The fast boat ensures a safe and comfortable 45-minute ride. You will arrive in "Canal de Catuano," which divides Saona Island from the Dominican Republic. Forty minutes of snorkeling in Cayo Raton, thirty minutes visiting the very wild Catalinita Island, and then we stop the boat on the top of the small Sand Island, where we can taste fresh tropical fruit. Before returning to the hotel beach, we'll visit the "Sea Star" place, where you can watch the biggest sea stars you have ever seen! Return about 1:00pm. USD$39.00

Catalina Island
Daily snorkel trips leave at 8:30am in front of the Viva Diving store. The fast boats ensure a safe and comfortable 25-minute ride. You will reach the Catalina reef, where the wonders of the Caribbean Sea are at a depth between 6/12ft 2/4m.

You will snorkel for about 30 minutes. Afterwards you will move to the west side of the island for a different snorkeling place and/or relax and enjoy the beautiful Catalina beach.

Return time is around lunchtime (12:30pm) You must have a reservation. The meeting place is at the Viva Wyndham Diving store at 8:25am. Here you will receive your snorkeling equipment and be given a snorkeling trip briefing. The price of US $39 per person includes boat trip and snorkeling equipment. Bayahibe Snorkel Tour
Daily snorkel trips (except Sundays) at 2:30 pm in front of the Viva Diving store. The fast boats ensure a safe and comfortable 10-minute ride. You will reach the reefs in front of Bayahibe, where the wonders of the Caribbean Sea are at a depth of approximately 4m. You will snorkel for about 40 minutes

Return time is around 4:00 pm. You must have a reservation. Here you will receive your snorkeling equipment and be given a snorkeling trip briefing. The price of US $15 per person includes boat trip and snorkeling equipment. For more information or to pre-book, call the hotel directly.
