Why change the name from TripRewards to Wyndham Rewards?
This name change reflects our continued growth as part of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands. Wyndham Rewards brings together the unique personalized benefits of Wyndham ByRequest, such as high speed internet and a welcome snack, with the points and rewards offering. Stay at more than 6,000 Wyndham Worldwide locations around the globe, including Wyndham Hotels and Resorts®, Wingate by Wyndham®, Ramada®, Days Inn®, Super 8®, and Baymont Inn & Suites®

Will I be getting a new member number?
No. You'll continue to use your same Wyndham ByRequest number to enjoy on-property benefits when you stay at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts locations.
Your ByRequest number is linked to your TripRewards number. Your current TripRewards member number will stay the same. It will now be called your Wyndham Rewards member number.
As before, use this number to receive points or miles for stays at any Wyndham Worldwide locations around the globe, including Wyndham Hotels and Resorts®, Wingate by Wyndham®, Ramada®, Days Inn®, Super 8®, and Baymont Inn & Suites®

Will I be getting a new membership card?
Existing Wyndham ByRequest program members who received a new card after November 2007, featuring TripRewards will receive a new card. Your member numbers remain the same: the TripRewards number on your card is now called the Wyndham Rewards number and helps in managing points account; the ByRequest number will continue to be used for personalizing your stays at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.

Newly enrolled members will receive new member card in the new member welcome kit.

What happens to the points I currently have in my TripRewards account?
You'll keep all of the points or miles you've already earned with TripRewards (per the program's Terms and Conditions). These points will now be called Wyndham Rewards points.

Wyndham Rewards (formerly TripRewards) points expire four years from the date they are credited to a member’s account unless his/her account is used earlier. After 18 consecutive months without any earning or redemption transactions, the member’s account will be closed and points forfeited. Do I need to do anything to "activate" my Wyndham Rewards account?
No. You do not have to re-activate your account. Your usernames and passwords will not change. However, if you'd like to verify the information in your current profiles, go to www.wyndhamrewards.com to access your earning preferences and points balance, and go to www.wyndhambyrequest.com to access your ByRequest personalization profile.

Will I still earn the same number of points for my hotel stays?
Yes. You'll still continue to earn 10 points, 2 rail points, 500 airlines miles for every dollar (USD) you spend for qualifying stays at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. These points will now be called Wyndham Rewards points instead of TripRewards points. If you elected to earn airline miles instead, that option will not change for you
Don't forget, you can also earn points or airline miles for stays at more than 6,000 other hotels in the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands, including: Wingate by Wyndham®,, Ramada®, Days Inn®, Super 8®, and Baymont Inn & Suites®.

Yes. You can still redeem your points for free night stays at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, plus more than 6,000 other hotels in the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands including Wingate by Wyndham®, Ramada®, Days Inn®, Super 8®, and Baymont Inn & Suites®

Does my selection of hotel brands change?
No. The hotel brands are the same as they were with TripRewards. That means, you can continue to earn points or miles and redeem at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts®, plus more than 6,000 hotels around the globe, including: Wingate® by Wyndham, Ramada®, Days Inn®, Super 8®, and Baymont Inn & Suites®.

Does this name change affect any of my current hotel reservations I've made through TripRewards?
Not at all. Any hotel reservations made prior to this name change will not be affected. Your reservation confirmation number remains the same, and you will earn Wyndham Rewards points on qualifying stays.

No, your username and password will not change for Wyndham ByRequest. Also, your TripRewards username and password can be used for Wyndham Rewards. No changes or updates are necessary.

Can I still choose to earn Wyndham Rewards points, air miles or rail points for my stays?
Definitely. You'll continue to have the choice of earning 10 points or 2 rail points for every dollar (USD) you spend on your hotel stay. Or you can earn 500 airline miles per stay at participating brands. Please see our program terms and conditions. Keep in mind, airline miles can only be earned for your hotel stays — you'll receive Wyndham Rewards points for all other earning activities.

The frequent flyer number must belong to the guest who is staying at the hotel in order for mileage awards to be processed. Remember that anyone can join and receive mileage on his or her own frequent flyer number.

Ensure your Wyndham ByRequest member profile reflects your preferred mileage partner and your correct frequent flyer number. Provide your Wyndham ByRequest member number each time you make a reservation for a Wyndham Hotel or Resort, and your miles will be posted to your account within 14 days of your departure.

How do I update my e-mail newsletter subscriptions?
Every e-mail you receive, whether it is your Wyndham Rewards eStatement or ByRequest hotel offers, will contain a link to opt-out of the communication. You can modify your subscriptions at any time by visiting Wyndham.com. You simply select the link at the bottom of the screen titled E-mail Subscriptions, and then select which newsletter subscription you would like to receive or modify.

No, reservations booked through a blind online booking service, i.e. priceline.com or hotwire.com, are not eligible for any Wyndham ByRequest benefits.

I have completed my Byrequest member profile, what snack will I receive when I arrive?
The program offers 2 benefits levels. The welcome level offers points or miles for your stay, free internet access, expedited check in, free domestic long-distance calls and online receipts. After 3 nights, you qualify for the ByRequest level of benefits. The ByRequest level offers a welcome snack and drink, your room prepared the way you prefer it with pillow type, bed type and room location and in room extras like towels, coffee and pillows The ByRequest Manager at the hotel will prepare a welcome snack and drink for your arrival which will be a selection of items from your profile.

Wyndham ByRequest is a program based on customizing the needs of each member. Therefore, each traveler should have his or her own membership card and complete a member profile based on personal preferences.

How do I add my member number to an existing reservation?
Complete a contact Wyndham ByRequest form with your reservation information, call the hotel directly, or call our toll-free number 800-WYNDHAM (800-996-3426). At the prompt, select Wyndham Rewards. If you are calling from outside the U.S. and Canada, please call 506-638-4899 (your call will be subject to international direct-dial rates).
